Had the ENT stick the camera down a nostril into my throat and told me he did not see any sings of cancer or anything malignant. He saw a lot of mucus in my throat and thinks the sensation I'm feeling in my throat is my throat reacting to the build up of mucus. He told me I could do a saline treatment or leave it alone to let things resolve on their own.

Hi,
Even going privately I'm having to wait 2 months, and will have the same procedure. My daughter had it last year and says it's not too bad.
I'm fairly sure it will be something simple/benign, but need to cover this base as I'm older (61) and also have autoimmune conditions. I've had similar to this in the past.
Let's know how you get on?

The procedure is painless but weird. I felt the camera down my throat but it's over pretty quickly. I wish you the best.
