    Question Just started taking Citalopram & Trazodone...

    Hi yesterday i got perscribed citalopram 20mg and trazodone 50mg from my doctor for depression,im on my 2nd day of citalopram and feel ok today but the 1st day i took citalopram in the morning i was sick,im taking my 1st trazodone tonight,i take my citalopram 20mg in mornings,and now tonight starting my trazodone 50mg,what will the trazodone do to me?

    Hi ,I was given trazadone 50mg after being a week on citalopram ,because i wasnt sleeping.Its often given for this..It helped a bit but made me feel even yuckier ,and i had a really bad metallic taste in my mouth,so i didnt take it for long.Dont let me put you off as we all react differently to meds,try it you may feel ok.When you take your citalopram take it with food it settles better. good luck sue
