Mouth/throat clicking as I fall asleep, is stopping me from sleeping!

    Hi all,

Over the past month or so, I have noticed that as I fall asleep, my mouth/throat/tongue appears to click. This then prevents me from sleeping as it wakes me up again, and keeps me awake until the early hours of the morning.

I wondered if this could be done sort of myoclonic/hypnic jerk? It does seem to get worse the more I think about it, and definitely gets worse if I am feeling stressed.

Has anyone else had this at all?

I had something similar but mine used to click with my heartbeat it would drive me insane but I woke up one day and it was gone and hasn't came back so hopefully yours will do the same ...
