    Ovarian cancer fear

So I've just asked my partner to feel my right hand side of my tummy and he agrees he can feel 'something'. I'm now spiralling into panic. He has said it could be muscular or something like that. But I'm of course spiralling towards cancer. It's not a lump more of a hardness. I don't think I have any of the other symptoms but I don't suppose everyone does. ..

Hello! I went through an ovarian cancer fear earlier this year - constantly worried about something :(

Anyway, the hardness you may be feeling may just be muscular or even constipation! How old are you?

I'm 42. And it's been my anxiety for a few months now. I'm trying to tell myself it's just muscular and I do suffer from ibs too. But I'm convincing myself it's the very worst.

    Re: Ovarian cancer fear

When my partner felt it last night it was quite sore, almost like a bruise or sharp pain. When I've felt for it this morning after going to the toilet it seems a little less and the sharp pain has gone. Although I feel tender but I'm unsure whether this is how much we were pressing down on it last night. My period is due on Sunday and I don't know if this is connected too. This fear is going what all my health anxieties have done and taken over and stolen the enjoyment out of my life. It's all I think about. And because this is called the silent killer it seems be so much worse.
