    Peak flow

    can using your peak flow too much make your chest ache as ive been doing it a lot today and it hasnt been under 600 but i think i cant get enough air is this another anxiety thing?

    Yeah you are not breathing correctly - which is an anxiety thing

    Yep would say your not breathing properly. my peak flow is only 400 at best and my breathing is crap, but ask me to exhale a long breath and i can do it for ages so that gives me reassurance. Saying that i do get the ache that you describe then i can panic given the time of day, but only when i am thinking bout my breathing, distraction distraction, then when you have that down, learn to trust that you are getting enough air in! your still upright and here, thats whats to trust.
