Hi Mandy, these symptoms are so common with anxiet, I had them for so so long and was convinced I had bowel cancer. Dr sent me to see a specialis, I had loads of tests and they where all clear (they said its IBS) This cut down my anxiety and worry then the problem just went away. So the answer is keeping calm and relaxed but as we all know this isnt easy. Hope you feel better soon, Vernon

Yeah another 'one of those' symptoms. It's amazing what our bodies can do to us.

Hope you get up on morning and feel better, very soon.

I get it too. I think it's part of the GERD / IBS package.

It'll probably go away the more you relax.

However, you could research a diet that would be better for your digestive system and see if it works. Less coffee, booze, currys etc and more boiled potatoes, bananas, fibre etc.

Actually, I find an Actimel in the morning helps a lot.[:P]

hiya mandy, yep i get that, it was one of the first "signs". i described it as a screaming tummy, makes a sound like your hungry, but your not. Just another symptom of anxiety im afraid.

i get the same thing guys, i wake up and feel fine, then al of a sudden i start to get butterflys and stomach cramping, then i have to go the toilet bad. very bloody morning. then im worried fro the rest of the day that it means im sick. stupid as i have it everyday. it goes away if i get up and busy myself but has before stayed a whole day when i dwell on it. im now in a constant battle to get myself up and out in the morning, but so much happier when i do!
    hope this helped ,
