Clonidine

Anyone on here had any success with the med clonidine? Recently I have been tapering off prednisolone and found that I keep breaking out in to sweats and my anxiety has changed to feeling tense.... I don't want to change my normal meds - (mirt and quetiapine) and I also don't really want to rely on my diazepam too much so Doctor said about using clonidine until I finish my prednisolone taper in 2 weeks?

There are some potentially contradictory interactions between clonidine, mirtazapine and quetiapine, but I don't know whether they are actually significant which is why I suggested getting a pro's input.
