Warm sensation on left shoulder after sinus surgery - blood clot fear

I’ve had blood clot fears before, but this time is a little different.

I had sinus surgery on Monday. They put those air compression things on my legs during surgery to prevent blood clotting, so that’s good.

My issue now is that I was pretty much in bed from Monday evening until this morning (Wednesday). I was lightheaded and vomited a few times, so I was pretty much stuck there until I got better.

Now I have a warm sensation from my left shoulder down to my wrist area. I’m now scared that these days in bed gave me a blood clot. I did get out of bed to use the restroom, of course, so I wasn’t completely bedridden, but the warmth in my arm comes and goes like pulsing and it feels warm to the touch. There’s no pain at this point.

I just need some advice from people who have had this fear before.

Would you be able to get a telephone appointment with your gp to explain your fears and reassure yourself...sorry I didn’t check if you were in uk, if you are, you could always call 111 nhs helpline they have trained professionals who would also speak with you about your fears...

I’ve called the ENT doctor about it, but he’s currently in surgery. Waiting for him to call back.

The office seems to think it’s a reaction to the antibiotic I was taking. I guess they’ll have to figure out a new one. I’m allergic to so many.
