    Heart attack fear

I get panic attacks frequently, and a colleague just shared an article on facebook about a cardiac arrest froma man had while running a marathon. It really unsettlede because it made me think that if a panic attack causes a surge of adrenaline and makes your heart pound, what's to stop it causong a heart attack like running a marathon does? Please tell me there's no logic to this?

    Re: Heart attack fear

Running a marathon is nothing like a panic attack.

You are right in that there is no logic so please put the thoughts aside.
