Should I increase to 40mg?

Hi

I have been on 20mgs of prozac since early March. Did not reduce my anixety levels so I was put on Pregabalin a few weeks ago. Still not better and still increasing the pregabalin. Was feelign a little better on 300mgs and since I went to 375mgs nearly a week ago I feel like shit.

My doctor has suggested increasing prozac to 40mgs once stable on prozac but I didn't think there was much chance of 40mgs helping if 20mgs did nothing?!

I thought the guidlines state that if not much luck with the 20mgs then should switch drug rather than increase the prozac. If there was some improvement with the 20mgs then they then recommend upping to 40mgs?!

I am just so fed up of waiting to get better....

Upping the dose could do the trick even if 20mg didn't. Given it is the easiest and potentially fastest of your available options it is worth a shot, imho.

Ya think I will give it a go once I settle on this 450mgs of pregabalain.
