Hi, I'm really sorry i got it wrong. I spoke to my Dad earlier and it was his statin tablet causing his symptoms not his blood pressure tablet

UPDATE I am really confused whats going on the calf and leg pain I'm suffering with nothing is helping today the pain is sharp. Saw my headache specialist today he said he thought my medication for my headache was causing the swelling and pain in my leg and told me to come off it i said if i come off it my headaches will return he also told me not to take any painkillers my gp new how much pain i was in and prescribed painkillers. How do i cope with this pain?

Go and discuss this with your GP. You are getting conflicting advice and this is'nt helping you at all .

For over two weeks now ive been suffering with severe calf pain it swelled up wasent red hard or warm dr said it could be dvt i was given a blood test and as precaution an injection of blood thinner in my belly. My di dimar came back normal and i had a ultra sound of calf which came back ok. Since then the pain has been unbearable the pain has been up my calf into my upper leg and at times in groin. The pain is like a severe dull ache been to drs so many times the dr said it sounds muscular i knew it wasent as ive not hurt myself in anyway. I was in agony so i decided to go to a private pshyio he thinks the pain is coming from my back i asked my gp for an mri cos was in so much pain. I suffer with health anxiety and i worried its summat more I'm so scared

The more you think about it the more it will hurt.

The scan cam back clear, the blood test came back clear you need to have faith in the Doctors.

It could even be your sciatic nerve playing up and the pain coming from your waist down rather than your calf upwards.

yep and??? the sciatic nerve runs all the way down the back if your legs from your back...

UPDATE This pain is horrendous feels sharp at times in my leg. I am trying everything heat evaluating leg deep heat naproxen direcodine gabenptin heat pads. This is really starting to concern me. The physio still thinks scatica although all this started in my calf just wanna feel well. Has anyone with scatica had sharp pain down leg?
