Hi. You could see the failure on day three more like an absolute success on nights one and two. That was brave.
You may find that it is something that happens when you wake at an undersired time and the adrenalin kicks in. Could you try having someone stay with you at your place?
This actually happened to me when I was living with some friends many years ago. I only felt safe when I was at home with parents. I woke many nights with panic and remember how hard it was. I think your attempts at staying are worthwhile if you can see every good night as positive.
