Can Ativan cause increase anxiety/depression? For about 3 weeks i have been taking 1- .5mg Ativan to help me sleep.
Phobia with pain and my thoughts jump right to surgery.
My history:
2014- stomach pain, ruq pain x 3 months. Hospitalized all testing negative. Finally had gallbladder removed and pain went away.
3/2015- jumping in place contest with son. Immediate knee and leg pain x5 months. Knee surgery went great 8/2015.
10/2015 shooting leg pain to foot came back x5 months. Peroneal nerve decompression by the knee 3/2016. NOT SUCCESSFUL !
12/2015 woke up to left wrist tendonitis
4/2016 pick up big flower pot. Pinched nerve. 7 months pain
Acdf c6-7... success.
2016 Still have nerve leg pain from unsuccessful surgery.
7/2016 tendonitis goes away-- success
12/2016 I wake up with wrist tendonitis again. Painful.. can't move fingers.
2/2017- leg surgery AGAIN. Too soon to tell.
3/2017- tried shutting my car door on a really windy day. Immediate nerve pains AGAIN in my neck. Afraid I pinched the nerve above it.
It's been a rough few years. But seriously I can't take it anymore. I'm constantly in pain. I have a 6 yr old that I can't do things with. I'm constantly crying and barely able to function.
Every time I have an issue my mind fluids right to surgery. And I become overwhelmed, scared, anxious and sooo on! My husband is a PA with neurosurgeon. My husband read my Neck MRI films tonight and he said everything looked good. But I don't believe him. We don't have the report back yet. But I'm just convinced I'm gonna need another surgery.
I have a great support system here at home. Husband mother and in law are all beyond helpful. I also started with a new pain management psychologist. So I'm hoping I can get my mind in a better place. The pain management psychologist thanks it's my scalene muscles which mimics a pinched nerve. But I don't trust him.
Thanks for listening!
