Will Escitalopram work as good 2nd time around

I have just started taking Escitalopram 5mg and this time around, I haven't felt the same as I did when I started taking it a few years ago. When I initially started it back in 2016, I had horrific increased anxiety, nausea etc (I was taking 10mg though), it was a tough couple of weeks. This time around, I have been taking 5mg for 7 days and apart from horrible nausea for 3 days and feeling very tired and spaced out, I don't seem to have any increased anxiety and feel quite different. I am just concerned it wont work as well this time, as it did before. Anyone experienced a similar scenario ?

I stopped Escitalopram for 2 months and restarted it again, all the side effects came back. I started on 10 mg then upped to 20 mg. may be 5 mg is a small dose

I also hade some time out from cipralex after successfully using it for 2 years. And all initial side effects were back. Apparently the brain forgets if you pause it longer then 1 month and process starts all over again. I don't see any reason why it should not work, give it time. I know it's hard. I am close to 3 months since i started again and still not fully recovered.
