Oh mate it was bad, what made it worse though part way through the op the consultant said oh there is a 2% change of getting stroke :eek good job I don't suffer with HA can you imagine what it would do to a HA'er I felt sick. Yesh I do smoke way to much (do you still smoke?) so hard as its so addictive it sucks. A triple A don't like the sound of that Matt, How is he now? ATB

Pretty sure my Partner had this one done last year when she had gallstones, my mum had the full scan and barium thang when she was ill , she was in about 45 min .
My MRI on my back I think took about 4 hours , ok twenty mins but I was shitting myself so much it felt longer , my problem was being alone in a small hospital at night and everyone had gone home , had I know what was going to happen which you do and not had the wait I think it would have been a lot less stressful, my mum takes in headphones to listen to music I'd do that if I had another , I was right inside on mine and it was in a lorry in the car park mobile MRI , it's got to be easier second time round and I doubt you will be in there much longer , take the diazepam about an hour before to let it get working and take a magazine ( not porn that's frowned upon) sitting waiting is the hardest part .

Yep still smoke about 30 a day. Have smoked as many as 40 to 50 a day Packed in from Jan 2016 until May 2017 but was vaping instead and never put it down.

Well done for getting through the stent op!!! This must have been before the NHS started using the blame everything on anxiety route for non HA sufferers as now if you have good old fashioned regular anxiety your doooooooooommmedd!!!

30 a day ? You two want to pack that shit up , I saw June ( dot cotton ) brown on tv the other night the docs said she should stop smoking she's smoked since she was 18 and is now 90 , is that what you want to end up looking like ? Cuz that's what'll happen , think of all that extra money you'd have , you could start taking crack .
You should here the hard time I give my daughter about smoking , tut sigh

Sure we both do! but it's a highly addictive substance and on the crack front there is no chance ever on that Yes the extra money would help I have tried patches, one to one counselling it doesn't work for me, what would work is a anonymous group using the 12 step programme and yes there is one or 2 but way down south so no good to me and I cant do it on line either it has to be a room with other members just like it was for me at GA and OA very supportive and it works. Buster, i'm sorry i never noticed this yesterday. Yeah thanks i will be in the middle of the machine. Yes it's checking my gallbladder, billiary system, liver and pancreas with an IV contrast. My lumbar MRI took 16mins. I'm thinking this will be 20ish. The internet is a mare some places say 10 to 15 mins and some say 30 to 45 mins.
Yep gonna take the chill pills.
    Cheers
