Have both main symptoms for tonsil cancer

Letter from ENT today- 4 weeks after they got my referral. Says consultant has reviewed my referral and wants to see me urgently within 14 days but I cant call and make the appointment until Monday as its the weekend . Now I'm super worried. Its been exactly 3 months with one swollen tonsil and persistent sore throat. :(

You'll find out soon enough but that being said, as I've posted so many times before....

Cancer is an uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells. It doesn't come and go nor does it stop once it starts.

In the 3 months since you noticed these symptoms, they would have grown noticeably worse. Head and Neck cancers are pretty aggressive once they take hold. You don't mention any progression of symptoms so that leads me to believe something else is going on less sinister than you think. In my case, the node on my neck grew considerably from the first time I noticed it. I had no pain and felt fine otherwise.

Let us know what the ENT says!

Today I have new flat yellow spots back of throat that I've not noticed before and I also have a singular white spot on the swollen tonsil. Throat and voice still incredibly sore and strained also
... 10 days to wait until I get some answers (hopefully) .
