Can panic/anxiety cause left arm pain?

I have terrible heart h/a. I also have issues with chronic pain. I have been taking steps to control the health anxiety, but it's so difficult when you're in pain everyday. Anyway, recently, I've been having issues with left arm pain. Seems to be worse after eating or when walking around. I've had multiple ecg's, multiple echos, multiple ct's and a stress test. Nothing other than SVT has been found. I was put on Metoprolol, but it doesn't seem to be helping.

So, anyway, can anxiety cause left arm pain?

Yes, anxiety can cause a multitude of symptoms, including left arm pain. I was put on Metoprolol as well for my racing heart. It races daily, sometimes up 175 BPM. I'm on 25mg day and night, which doesn't seem to be helping much either. I have low blood pressure though so I can't take too high of a dose. What is your dose and how many times do you take it? Do you have a racing heart daily as well? It scares me so much! :(

Yes. Anxiety can cause muscle to tense up in the arms and various other place. The pain may just be that.
