    Worried about results

    Hi

    Im so worried

I got bloods done on Monday lunchtime as i have been having chest pain/heaviness,breathing upset ,nausea, tiredness, dizziness etc

The receptionist told me the bloods are back early and the Dr wants to see me tomorrow

    Im terrified

I had an ecg done which another Dr assessed and he says it looks ok

Im so so worried.Ive been feeling so awful i just knew something was awfully wrong. Why else would they have got them back that quickly?!

ooooo Hunny please dont worry, this happened to my husband last week,
it turned out he had low white cells that mean hes fighting an infection in his body. If it was serious they would be calling you into hospital straight away.

I know its difficult but try to think for this moment, and if you have dizziness alot , it may be that you are anemic (which would show in your blood).

let us know how it goes tomorrow .

Hi,yes i agree with everyone here if it was very serious they would call you in staight away or get you to hospital.Ive had blood tests done before and although the receptionist gives you a day to call and get results they often come in earlier than this.I think once was a good couple of days before.

You did the right thing getting these done, keep us posted.

    Hunny

It could be something really simple and not sinister atall.

I had a throat swab done about a year ago and got a message to call the GP urgently about it. It just turned out it was a rare throat infection and he wanted to get me on the anti-biotics asap so that is why he called me back in.

I am sure yours will be something similar.

    Let us know tomorrow.

Hi Hunny, I can only repeat what others have said.

It could also be another issue on your bloods. You cholesterol could be high, perhaps an odd count result or even your thyroid playing-up.

When my Nan had blood tests and it was urgent the GP referred her to Hospital THE SAME DAY.

Try not to worry and wait to see what your doctor has to say.

    Hiya

    Thanks so much for replying

It seems i have an underactive thyroid. They havnt decided whether it might be due to having a baby five months ago,so they want to repeat the tests in a few months

One of my liver tests was high too,but she didnt mention a lot about that except to say she wanted to keep an eye on it.Does anyone know why it might be high?I dont know which liver one it was

    My FBC was fine

Im trying to be positive now,but concerned about my liver...

    Thanks again

    Hunny x
