liver enzymes help

hiya i had some routine tests when i got my anti depressants and it came back as hhigh liver enzymes so i had another test and its came back high again im really worried what thia could be i have a scan next week any ideas thanks x

Which specific test was high?

What has the doctor got to say about it all?

hi they didnt say i prbly shud of asked she just sed on the phone this was the receptionist btw that i dont need to see the doc just need to have a scan next and theyl send it me thru the post i have a feeling tho that it was alt or ast something like that i also had a hepatitis test the second time around and she didnt mention thaton the phone so guessing dont have that all she sed is the enzymes are high x

If you drink alcohol your GGT level could be high as well.

well i rarely drink im quite sure it wasnt ggt im just wondering does fatty liver increase liver enzymes ?

I guess it could do - that will be why they are sending you for a scan
