nytol and blood pressure tablets

Hi all, i'm struggling with getting any sleep and desperately want to try and get a sleep patter. I take blood pressure tablets and propranolol. The bp tablet is new and called lercanidipine.
A friend advised to give nytol a try but not sure if there would be any probs with the tablets i take, Is there anyone out there who can advise at all.

I would ask your pharmacist just to be sure before trying them.
I tried nytol and they didn't seem to do much, but I guess they must work for some people. One tip I do have for sleeping problems (I've suffered from insomnia in the past) is NEVER go to bed until you start to feel tired. You can take all the warm drinks and warm baths you like before bed but until your body actually feels tired you will find it hard to sleep. It's the one rule I use now, even if it means staying up a bit later than you would like.

hi doc has just put me on Lercanidipine but i sometimes have sweling on legs and scared to take them anyone help x
