I just had my first theraphy session, where I had to do some excercises. The idea was to provoke the same feelings I have during a panic attack, and it certainly worked. :-(
I had to breathe in a bery fast and shallow way for 90 seconds, which lead me to hyperventilation. I cried during the excercise, and hours after it I was still not ok.
I feel weak, tired and sad. I know that theraphy is supposed to be more effective than drugs (in the long term) but why does it have to be so hard? Anyone else experiencing this? If so, how long it took you before you could do the excercises without feeling as bad as after a panic attack?
