    The bear bones

Many of us know that animals help us through bouts of depression and anxiety. I was lost when I didn't have my horse to look after daily. I turned to the internet and found this wonderful family who help orpaned bears, outside of their normal working hours.

There is a competition where they could win $100,000 to help keep the animal shelter running. There are lovely pics and stories of the bears. I'd greatly appreciate it if you could vote for them. It costs you nothing and could be the first step to finding an interest that truly can help lift you.

Bumping this up as I really think it could help you as well as the animals - even if you only go to look at the gorgeous cubbie pics.

Ive cast my vote, hard to look at those pictures though.
Animals are great for telling your problems to, at least you know they are not going to judge you or give you a reply that you dont want to hear..
I can tell my cat anything, as long as he gets his tin of tuna in the morning he will listen to all my problems.
You seem a really kind person, Ive noticed that you usually reply to all the unanswered posts.... without wanting it acknowledged.

I've cast my vote too Chem, and very glad to.

I agree that animals are a huge comfort. I still miss my cat dreadfully, even though it is a long time since we lost him. I would love to have another pet, but as I live with my parents they are reluctant to have another as Hobo's loss was awful.

I miss him laying on my lap and following me up the road as I went to work.

I do hope the shelter wins the competition.xxx
