    DARE technique

Has anyone tried the DARE technique by Barry McDonagh. I downloaded the book on audible and found some of it very useful and different. It's all base on accepting the discomfort of anxiety and facing it etc. Also some info on you tube.

I find significant parts of it useful. It's based originally on Claire Weekes' approach, but he goes further. I think it's a great book.

Sounds similar to exposure therapy which I have found very helpful!

It has grown me a lot as a person putting myself in uncomfortable situations definitely a great method!
