Food stuck between teeth and lips/gums?

Not sure where to post this... so this forum was my go-to place

I seem to get food stuck between my back teeth and my gums/inside of lips a lot that I can't get with my tongue and have to use my finger to get

I'm pretty sure I've always been like this.. but I've been paying attention to/worrying about it more since I started worrying about ALS

Does anybody else have that? Where their tongue can't get the food thats stuck and you have to use finger or something. How frequently?

Certain things I eat, I pretty much always have to do it. Like if I eat a sandwich with white bread

Everyone gets this. It's why dentists tell you to floss to get the food out. No one can get all the trapped food out with their tongue. Buy some dental floss and clean your teeth after meals or swish with mouthwash or chew gum.

I don't mean like in my teeth
    As in like
You know how when you eat and something gets stuck on the roof of your mouth? Again happens to a lot of people with white bread
Well like that but on the outsides of my teeth like
Up on the top of my mouth on the outside of my teeth (not between them)

I eat a lot of nuts/seeds and that happens to me a lot right up above the lower gum line on the top, or deep down inside my cheek below the bottom teeth... annoying more than worrying Mouthwash is normally good for getting it all out

With respect, in what way does this cause you anxiety?

    Positive thoughts

Haha I figured someone would ask

You remember my ALS fears. Getting over it but still there. I've been checking on my tongue less and less. Its just that I've become more aware of then I can't dislodge things with my tongue since part of me is "looking" for signs of my tongue being weak and immobile

I have this problem, but it does not course me anxiety.
I have tooth picks everywhere in the house and also floss. not forgetting mouth wash, and carry the same in my bag.
Nuts/seeds are the worst thing for getting stuck.
I tend to choke on seedy stuff.
Getting food stuck on the roof of the mouth is easy to remove even if you use your finger.
