    Sertraline problems

    Hello everyone,

Have been on Sertraline for 5 months (50mg).
Have noticed, over the last few days, that I have been itching all over.
It has built up gradually and today it clicked that it is probably the Sertraline. I daren't take one tonight.

Has anyone else had this problem?

    Re: Sertraline problems

I've been on sertraline 100mg for over a year now and I sometimes get this too, especially at night. It's not anything serious and is in fact mentioned as a side effect. If it was an allergic reaction you would have known about it much sooner - not after 5 months.

Don't let it worry you and please don't suddenly stop taking it without your doctor's advice either.
