    Anxiety when no subject

    Does anyone get this regarding anxiety and dread when there’s not really a subject your usually obsessing about.

    I get this often. I think it's a component of my depression and I let it remain in the background while I get on with my day. I've noticed that if you focus on this "dread" feeling, it's not long before your mind latches onto something specific, and you set the whole anxiety cycle off in motion. I personally let it be. It cannot hurt you, only lurk.

    That's a good way of putting it. I've found the more you think about it, the more the anxiety wins at any given point.

    It's difficult, but that's why keeping busy is important I feel.
