    Could this be anxiety? sciatica??

Lately I keep getting these Sharp pains in my butt, legs and thighs and burning sensations. I had an ultrasound done of my legs and all looked good. I also get a tight feeling in my right calf. My mom keeps saying it sounds just like the sciatica problems she has, but I thought it was usually in one leg? ? So is it possible it's from tension and anxiety? I'm so worried :-( also, is it possible to induce symptoms from worrying??

No, sciatica can be one or both. The sciatic nerve runs down both legs. My dad always gets it down his left leg so I thought it was always that leg until I looked into it as I wanted to get him something that might help with it.

I got him one of those TENS machines and he says it works quite well I'm taking the pain away.

Obviously, we can't diagnose on here so only a GP can say for sure.

In terms of bringing symptoms on, yes, we can easily bring on certain ones or contribute to then by thinking, just like how our panic builds. It seems unlikely that you could bring on sciatica type ones though.
