Severe ache in calf and leg

For a few days now i have had severe cramp like pain in my left calf. Mostly occurring at night. Today i woke up and now the pain is going up my thigh. Made an appointment with my dr she said my leg was swollen not red or hot to touch. She took some blood and gave me some injections in stomach. She said she cant rule out a dvt. Tomorrow I'm having an ultra sound really worried

I may be wrong but if a DVT is suspected should you not be having an ultrasound today?

My father-in-law had a DVT. He took blood thinners and wore weird stockings for a few weeks and was very soon fine.

Thanks guys. The dr gave me injections in belly and going for scan tomorrow really scared as not been moving much lately due to cluster headaches

Off for my scan soon pain is still bad and going to upper leg. Really don't know if its my new medication or something else

Really don't know whats going on had a test yesterday for a dvt came bk normal. Pain is in back of calf and its going up the leg pain around my groin. Really worried

pulled muscle, something else non sinister...... why are you worried when you have the all clear??

I guess cos i suffer with anxiety never had pain that spread to my upper leg and thigh. I suffer with cluster headaches and on a medication called verapamil a lot of people say this med can cos swelling but confused about the pain?
