Late period panic

Hi all, just after a bit of reassurance as I have no females to check with.
My period is usually regular, not on a set date but always around the same time. It was due last week but still nothing. I'm defo not pregnant so I'm getting worried as to what else it could be.

My stress levels are up way too high at the minute. I still have to work with my ex and a colleague got sacked at work in the last four weeks which has left me with more to do, but I'm always stressed anyway haha.

Could it be anxiety? If a period is six weeks late and doesn't usually happen should I worry?

It definitely sounds like it's stress related. I've been late several times (by 3 or more months sometimes!) during especially stressful times. I know you're freaking out about your period being late,but it will regulate itself. Remember that you can always induce it with medication prescribed by your gyno if waiting for it to start becomes unbearable.

Thanks yes I think it must be stress related with the amount going on in my life.

I've been up to seven weeks late before when very anxious so trying to think that I shouldn't really worry about nearly six weeks.

Just annoying when usually regular. I had a slight bit of spotting the other day but then nothing.

Hate being a woman at times like this lol!

If you've been late before due to stress,then you know it's no different this time round. ☺
