Tattoo ?

I'm half way through completing my CBT therapy. I'm going to these session because I've been suffering for PA/Anxiety attacks for years..

These sessions are really helping and to symbolise this I'm thinking of getting a tattoo. The problem is I'm finding it hard to put into a single/multiable words to express the achievement..

Can anybody suggest some wording ?

How about Libertas? It is latin for freedom, liberty and independence.

Sieze the day is a common phrase meaning to make the most of every day.
In latin it is Carpe Diem.

Maybe even the words Believe or Trust are appropriate.

Im getting a tattoo of a celtic cross with love and hope in gaelic to symbolise the loss i have suffered in my life but also the fight i have done with the anxiety.

I've thought of getting something symbolic too.

After losing a lot of weight, I now don't feel so self conscious about myself, and so am having tattoos that signify "beauty" on one leg. My other leg will be my "strength" leg, and I'm having a tiger on there.

I would like some wording as well but am stopping short of having "angel" - I have two angel tattoos and am in the middle of a huge set of wings too. I have thought of "hope" as I try to remain optimistic. I've also thought of having something on my palm that I can clench my fist and "hold" when I need to.

Let me know what you decide on. Would love to see the result.

I have a letter `W`tattooed on each bum cheek and when I bend over it says `WOW` !!

Old joke, sorry....

I`ve got a few tatts and if you go on tattoosymbol.com or similar search you can find allsorts, or use an online translator tool for any words or phrases you like but in latin etc.

I think anything like freedom, strength, power, or any empowering words would do the trick after your achievements. just take your time choosing because they`re on a long time and a good one makes you feel better every time you look down at it.

I would warn against using online translators, they are notoriously dodgy at giving accurate translations, especially when it's for something as permanent as a tattoo.

I'm a member of a couple of language forums and there are often requests for tattoo translations..they have used an online translator and just want to check that the translation is ok.

A lot of the time it isn't.

Better to find an online forum in the language you require and ask their advice, it might seem like a lot of hassle but it's better than being inscribed with something that doesn't really make sense!
