vagina feels wet

when there is nothing there?

a couple of weeks ago i had a mad thought that blood would be running down my legs. since then i keep checking my knickers all the time as it feels wet down there - most of the time there is nothing down there.

is all this in my head?

I HAVE THAT! I don't know what it is but I kept thinking I was wetting myself but when I checked there was nothing there, just a sensation of wetness.

I have bladder problems since having a really acute UTI last year, which has given me this fear of wetting myself (because I've heard others with my illness sometimes do). Because it hasn't happened I keep expecting it's going to start all of a sudden. I think that's why I feel the wetness and if you had the thought about blood and have felt this sensation ever since then perhaps we're both imagining it because we don't want it to happen?

I had this when I had major OC worries. I would have laid money on my losing blood/discharge because I could feel it escaping, I really could but of course it never was.

I suppose if your body is an anxious state a. you notice every little thing about it and b. I suppose if your body is an flight or fight situation you will produce more of every body fluid.

So that's three of us? I really thought that symptom was just me. Incredible when you realise others feel it too sometimes isn't it? I thought this one was really weird and hadn't even connected it with anxiety!
