    Tingling in chin/lower cheek

    Hey Guys,

I suffer from health anxiety, and this is the latest one. I tend to grind my teeth when stressed out or suffering from anxiety. Recently, my wife gave birth to our first child, and my father who was in remission with leukemia, relapsed after 12 years. I have had much more stress than normal, and thus the grinding has increased. I also have a "functional crossbite" (So says my dentist), and what I beleive to me TMJ (grinding of teeth, clicking noise in jaw etc...)

Recently I was treated with antibiotics for a sinus infection. As a part of that infection I was noticing tingling in my face and my anxiety levels went off as my father developed bell's palsy when he relapsed so I was hyper aware of any feelings in my face.

I'm just wondering if my teeth grinding and clenching could result in this sensation of tingling in my lower cheek and chin area? It is mostly on the same side of my face as the side clench and grind the most.

EDIT: I should add that this sensation comes and goes

    Thanks

It maybe can as grinding and clenching can tense the muscles and affect the nerves of sensation.
    I have Bell's Palsy myself.
