The first one is living with IT.
    I found them great.

Meg has done her own CD based course which I can recommend.

I love Claire Weekes "Self Help For Your Nerves". Another book I found to be very good and very useful was called "Panic Attacks" by Christine Ingham.

    Happy reading.......................AND DOING!!!!!!!!!!!

    Cheers,

There are a couple of books about depression I have found useful. Firstly Human Givens - How to Lift Depression Fast and Dorothy Rowe - Depression: The Way Out of Your Prison.

I haven't read this one myself but if it follows the approach of the depression book it will be good - How to Master Anxiety. In fact, I might order it myself!

Dr Robert Leahy -The Worry Cure and also anything by David Burns.
I was just like you when I was first diagnosed with GAD-I bought so many books on anxiety, but my care worker reminded me of the importance of reading the whole book and actually putting some of the tips into practice. I think it's all too easy just to read the introductory chapters and think to yourself-yes, that's me and isn't it terrible how many people have the same problem-but it's a whole different kettle of fish, actually working on what you read.

I've got a few of the ones listed above too and they are good - most certainly start with Claire Weekes 'Self-Help for your nerves'.

Another cracking one about looking at the way we think having an effect on us is 'Present Moment Awareness' by Shannon Duncan which you can get off Amazon. It's a really easy read and makes such a difference if you apply the concept regularly!!

"Supposing it didn't," said Pooh after careful thought.
