60 days of checking stool. When will it end?

I really don’t want to return to the gp as it’s embrassing to admit I salvage my stool out of the toliet bowl and inspect it for a good 20 mins. I look at the shape size and content to see anything abnormal. Does anyone have any success stories on how they beat the ocd checking behaviours, really at my wits end. I knew I hit rock bottom when I inspected my stool at work.

You just have to stop. It's difficul but that's the only way

As you know only you can stop yourself doing this...

Before you get up off the toilet flush it s you don't have the option to look at it..

I know it isn't as easy as that but to stop the compulsion maybe you need to replace it for something else... something to distract yourself from that compulsion.
