I set up an intake appointment with a therapist who specializes in OCD, and I'll be getting treated with CBT. I've read a lot about the treatment and how effective it is, and I'm pretty hopeful, eager, and terrified all at the same time.
How many of you have gotten CBT? Has it been successful for you?

I have been seeing my counsellor for 5 weeks, she is doing CBT with me, she specialises in anxiety but it will also be general talking counselling as I am delving into my past to seek out the causes of my anxiety. I have some things to try out and write down, the next time I feel anxious, I feel very positive about it.
