Hi , new to the forum . I suffer from Depression and Anxiety , but been really struggling with anxiety .
Have attended psychiatrist and was prescribed Buspirone along with Anti-depressants but didn't work .
Currently on Mirtazapine and Venlafaxine .
The following meds did not work : Buspirone , Sertraline .
GP gave me Diazepam which do work but I'm scared to take them .
I'm scared I'm going to lose my job

Hi Joe....welcome.

Lots of members will relate to your situation and worries.

I know it is hard not to worry about your job when you are struggling with something as debilitating as depression and anxiety, but try not to put too much pressure on yourself, and see how things go. You have had a bit of a mix with meds, and a few changes which wll be affecting how soon you find things get better for you. This is really common.

There is a lot of support and good folk here when you need an ear and some advice.

Many thanks . Venlafaxine was increased last week so will see how things go . Also take propranalol .
Have had pregablin for a sore back which made my anxiety worse .
Having read some posts i might ask her to consider something like quetiapine
