Are these heart symptoms?

Hi all,

I have been experiencing a lot of pain around my left breast, centre of my chest, up the sides of my left breast, my shoulder, back and sometimes my neck....

I have had numerous ECG's etc and all were fine but these symptoms have been everyday lately and I am wondering are these heart symptoms or is it nothing more than muscle tension?

I should point out that I do have certain sore points around these areas when touched are sore....

Can anyone help?

Hi Sadie,
I have had exactly the same lately, i think mine are due to muscle tension and i believe yours are too. If it were heart problems i think it would not be sore to touch and not involve the shoulder neck etc...I would be totally re-assured by having had tests and if poss. have a nice relaxing (?) bath, easier said than done i know. take care. speak soon xxxx

I get the exact same pains quite often and they are definitely caused by anxiety. It's just caused my muscle tightness and won't hurt you..

Hi Sadie

I get these pain too and if I press where the pain is they hurt. This does reassure me a bit that it is not to do with the heart but is muscle tension due to anxiety.
