    Re: eyes

Can't see a thing in front of me without me googles but don't need them for long distance viewing. Have notices my eyes are quite blurry sometimes and put this down to anxiety.

My partner had his eyes lasered about 4yrs ago now and he said it was the best money he ever spent. He'd worn glasses when he was teenager but quickly moved onto contact lenses. However years of wearing hard lenses when he first had the contact lenses had started to erode the lining of his eyelids, so he was advised to either go back to glasses or have laser surgery.

The one thing I would advise anyone considing this type of surgery is to make sure you go somewhere reputable. We found a consultant eye surgeon who had previously worked at Moorfields and is now a consultant with BUPA. It cost about £500 more having a consultant doing the surgery but my partner felt it was worth it for peace of mind.

my eye sight is fine except for:
    a) when i'm panicking, then everything goes blurry
    b) when in daylight any stronger than a cloudy day, then i can hardly see and i get migraines (photo sensitive)

no category for me as i also wear glasses for astigmatism, I get sort of tunnel vision with my anxiety in my rght eye only, same eye as stigmatism. its horrible and makes my anxiety worse, my pupil in this eye is also larger then the left eye.

I'm short sighted, and I don't generally find my vision is affected during a panic attack.
