not sure where to turn next.

So I have a couple of bad days, yesterday panicing all day and crying all evening. then hardly much sleep.

so then today I get an email from one of my best friends in America telling me that she has been diagnosed with an Aortic aneurism and is not sure she wants surgery as it is really invasive etc which without it she will probably die in the end

but now I am in a mess, no idea where to turn and can not stop crying.

Sorry I hate putting things on people but just had to rant and get it out my system.:weep:

Venus - don't worry about her not returning your calls - she has probably got to deal with this in her own way. She will be in touch when she is ready and I know that you will be a great support to her when she does. xxxx

You need to focus on what you need at the moment and stop worrying about everyone else.

If you still feeling bad in the next few days, why not make an appt at your GP and discuss your progress (or lack of) and see if they can help you get some therapy to get you back on track.

Right so yesterday i kind of thought to myself that 'today is the first day of the rest of my life' and decided not to let things get to me so much and do as people told me and also what i tell people to do and that is worry about yourself before others...

anyway to cut a long story short I am feeling more positive about everything and My friend has also been in touch as she had a heart ultrasound this morning and she emailed me saying.....

'Thanks Emma. The preliminary report looks good. Of course the ultrasound tech couldn't really say specifically but she said my aorta looks normal...as she knew I was very upset this morning.

So it seems that I got myself and you worked up about nothing....sorry.

I will let you know definite when I hear from doctor.'

OMG I am so happy about that bit I can not begin to tell you how much:yahoo:

I am still in somewhat of a mess but things are definitely on the up it seems :)

Heres hoping so Nic. She will let me know when it has been confirmed by the doctor. but hopefully the medical she had was wrong. but if so they have put her through all the worry and stress for nothing..

So from the very stressfull week it has ended on a high with an email from my friend who was told during a medical that she had an anyuerism in her abdomen and needed major surgery or die at some point.....

it read....

'I hope you are doing well. I heard from my doctor late yesterday and I don't have an aneurysm!'

I have never been so releived...... phew huge weight lifted of mine and her shoulders.

Omg I am so mad at the dr who did theis medical and put her through all the stress and hell she has been through this past week.... If i got my hands on them i would hate to say what i would say and do to them.

I have told her she ought to look into complaining about what she has gone through but no idea how that works over there.
