Hello folks

I have been really bad lately with panic and anxiety attacks I forget wot it feels like to be normal

I took ciprilex before but it took about 6 weeks to feel better

I'm really scared as I had some side effects but I can't live like this anymore its really taking over my life I actually take migraines but I was told that's the stress doing that

Does anyone have any positive feedback re cipralex as I would be very sensitive to medicine its only 5mgs they gave me and also gave me some diazapam as well

Hello Louise.
Oh I feel for you as I too keep deliberating as to whether to take meds again. The last two days I have taken the 5mg dose... and it has calmed me a little.
What was your previous experience of this drug? It's not one I have had before.

Hi I'm on cipralex, I found I felt a little more anxious to start with but the diazepam will help with that. These our the first meds I've stuck with and I've found them really good. Try stick with them. Anytime u need a chat feel free to pm me.

Thanks for replying it really helped me and then I stopped taking it as I thought I was ok

That was a year ago I'm not coping again I'm just nervous starting back on them I'm a terrible worrier

How long did it take u to feel better I'm just so nervous again

The doc has signed me off work for 1 week as I can't cope with anything I'm normally happy and upbeat sort of person but this is eating me up inside really bad I don't socialise anymore as I'm scared of panicking and passing out which I never have but always feel really dizzy!!

I would say thay took 2-4 weeks to kick in properly for me, I've been on them for a year and a half. The diazepam will help tho until the meds kick in. I had tried loads of meds but the side effects would allways stop me but with these ones all tho I felt more anxious and bit sicky to start with I was able to stick it out. Let me know how u go, I started on 5mg than went to 10mg. :hugs:

Louise... did you go up to 10mg before or just stop at 5mg?

I just took 5mgs it helped me I didn't need to go up to 10mgs

I'm thinking of cutting my tablet to make 2.5mgs for a couple of nights then going up to 5 I'm a nightmare when it comes to tablets.
