Sharp pains in stomach? :S

They started last night... My girlfriend told me I needed to eat but I did and it didn't help. They're still going on today and she still insists I need to eat although I can't seem to without getting nauseous. I dunno what I should do? Will it go away? Should I see a doctor? I get so nervous with health stuff, please help. :(

if it carries on despite eating then i would go to see the doctor, that is what they are there for and also it will put your mind at rest if it is nothing to worry about

The problem is, if we don't eat then we can suffer discomfort because of wind and stomach acid, both of which can be excrutiating.

I know it's hard to eat when we're in abdominal pain but in the end it ends up a 'Catch 22' situation.

However, the original reason for the pain needs to be investigated if it continues and prevents you from eating.
