My name is steve and i've suffered from panic disorder for years.
However I have managed to get from being stuck in my room to running my own business, going on holiday in the caribean and generally living a life of happiness, despite being saddled with this horrible affliction.
Life is always throwing up new challenges to do with the panic on a daily basis and probably always will. I find travel hard, taking my daughters out by myself almost impossible and crowds very frightening.
But I'm so lucky, in the past i couldn't even leave my room.
The reason i'm on this site is to help others and maybe get some help myself. I've been in that darkest of places when you feel like a lost cause, and I want to bring the message that ITS A BIG LIE !!
Mental illness is just like any other, It can be treated, it can be managed, you can have your life back :)
