This kind of does my head in!!

You just start feeling on top of everything- and then for 4 days (or more) everything becomes a bit horrific, tangled mess leaving you feeling as though you have never felt so bad. I know this isn't the case. I know it's PMT that makes me shut myself in my room and cry for days, too scared to go out.

Does anyone else have problems with this?

Does anyone else have any suggestions? All of the advice I have so far is conflicting- eg. Eat the junk you are craving, or avoid it totally.

I tried discussing this with a doctor and was told it was all in my head.. and she laughed it off- I am yet to discuss this with my doctor at home. I currently use hormone based contraception, but this should be making it better, not worse.

Thanks in advance,

Hannah x

Aw hunni, that wasn't very nice of your doctor to say that, is your doctor good? Cos if you don't feel you can talk to them then change doctors. I know what you mean its not nice is it. You just feel like total utter crap and then you have enough problems without all that! It gets on ya nerves doesn't it. Keep smiling.

Thanks for the links... but none of them really helped. I have no idea what to do to make myself feel better- and whilst the Vitamin B complex is a good idea it's not going to help now. I just feel so crap and miserable, and that nothing is worth fighting for at the moment- as well as being a snivelling wreck.

Scooby- I've changed doctors since, thanks, just have to wait til I finish uni to see her again!

Well def get onto the vitamins before I have the implant removed though.. x

Hi Hannah - sorry to hear you're not feeling so good - magnesium is suposed to be good for PMT - you could give that a try, it might make next month easier.
Take care
