Is it a rush of adrenaline when you suddenly....

feel very hot?? I was at the dentist this morning, in the waiting room I could feel my heart pounding a bit and my chest felt a bit heavy, afterwards I was really hot and felt like I was sweating, just wondered if that was a rush of adrenaline after Id got anxious about the dentist?

Im sure it was anxiety. I have had the hot and cold sweats before.

Im not scared of dentist at all but when ever im in the waiting room i get anxious.

Thank you Gemma, I dont have a dentist fear but I think anxiety built up in the waiting room. The hot and cold sweats are quite strange.

Yeh they are really odd. I always describe it as a rush of death when its cold. It really is like being drained of life and warmth. I find the cold sweats scare me and the hot sweats irratate me and make me anxious.

One of the many glorious advantages of anxiety woo hoo lol

yeh they can be, I mean you can be in the middle of town shopping and all of a sudden go really hot..... the cold ones are awful too cos even if I put a jumper on I still seem cold.
