Fullness in chest

I know this is probably a silly question but chest fullness/discomfort that lasts a few days couldnt be a precursor to a heart attack could it? I would have had it by now if I was going to surely?

Fullness in chest alone is unlikely to indicate a heart attack. Yes, I imagine you would have had it by now, the onset of a heart attack is usually fairly acute, I have never heard of a precursor lasting a few days. It is more likely to be muscular, or something as simple as a bit of trapped wind or indigestion. You could try taking some gaviscon and see if that eases it?

Try some mucinex (guaifenesin) ... that usually breaks up whatever congestion i have in my chest. it makes it easier to cough it up.
