Hi Guys , I am new to this site and really hopefully someone will understand where I coming from ?? I have been suffering with health anxiety for about four years and to be honest I have had a fairly good run of late with no real worries :) However thats now changed :( I do suffer with reflux acid and have been on medication omerprazole 20mg for well over a year and been ok with it .But two weeks ago i started getting pain in upper stomach gnawing thru to my back , constant burping, aching in shoulder , feels ok whilst eating but worse after ????? ofcourse my minds everywhere , researching on the net and finding all sorts . My gp said something as triggered the reflux off most possibly anxiety . She as changed my medication to lansoprazole 30mg and said to go back to and see how Im going in a weeks time. Does this sound familiar to anyone else ??? Does anyone know how long the lansoprazole will take to work ??
