That's great advice about the pint of water before bed. We lose a fair bit of fluids while sleeping aparently.

Oh dear Cathy, drinking already lol. When I was Citalopram the first time around I didn't touch any alcohol for the first 3 months. Then, i'd just start drinking moderately when socialising. Always seems to work okay for me. I've found that I can drink a few pints of calsbourg while on citalopram no probs. Yet, I've found out I pay for it if I drink a few pints of stella or kronenbourg.

Now I'm back on the meds, after short while of being alcohol free, I'll stick to low volume alcohol and shandy's. The odd glass of when won't make much difference.

It is difficult and not much fun I know Cathy. It would be easier if we were always teatotals, or rare drinkers.

Mum's on the tricyclic AD's for coping with her fibremialgia (sp) and she rarely drinks at all. She have shandy's or crabbies ginger beer.

I think I'll just stick to the sort of drinks mum's had. I reckong the water or orange juice you had helped Cathy.

It is hard watching the alcohol but... I supose it has to be done lol.
