24hr Heart Monitor

Having a 24hr heart monitor fitted on the 20th Sept. Anyone had one before? Is it uncomfortable, are you allowed to shower, etc? Also, presume it can pick up most heart issues?

Lol :) no don't shower!
It's fitted over your bra if I remember rightly.
A few sticky pads go on your chest, with long wires that connect to a little box which is in a bag.
The sticky pads can get itchy but try not to pick at them.
It just feels weird wearing all the wires and you'll be glad the next day to have it off.
