Im finding with my anxiety that I start to feel better and stablised with symptoms, then as soon as I have a busy or stressful day, my symptoms are right back.... is this a natural pattern?

I just wanna feel better again.

Im not sure. Even when I feel good I still get some of the physical symptoms. Are you on medication?

Have you seen your doctor about this? Have you tried any CBT?

Yeh have seen the doctor, hes seeing me on a regular basis at the moment. Not discussed CBT yet, but he has talked about counselling.

Hello Butterfly,

This indeed is natural for me. I am a student, I do not work, but it's true that my anxiety goes crazy after a day. I can easily imagine that the same would happen (especially!) after a day of work.

What I found helpful is to remain mentally vigilant and to breathe deeply and wind down my mind whenever signs of stress appear throughout my day. Also, learning to relax well after a long day of work really does help.

Anxiety tends to build up over the day, and this is why many people have sleep problems in the evening, when that same morning they've felt just fine.
