with anxiety, a sudden bout of upset stomach in the night? I know there is nothing I ate that should have caused the problem.

Yep, I've had this on a few occasions. I also get it during the say too but it always makes me panic more at night :S

If you're suffering with anxiety during the day I guess it shows itself later in your tum lol. Glad you're feeling better :)
